Abundance Redirected

I listened to a wonderful guided imagery from Magnificent Tappers this morning on abundance where I   was ushered in to a bank to inspect my vault which was filled with riches like the treasure room I described a few entries ago.  Understanding that this was all mine, I was invited to line my pockets with whatever I wanted.  It was great.

Later that afternoon, I had lunch with a very good friend.  She was celebrating her first pay check from a new job.  We talked about all sorts of things as we ate our delicious lunch.

Towards the end of our time  together, she received a call saying that she had lost this job that she had just started and was so happy about.  I felt so bad for her.

On the way home, In my mind’s eye I pulled out all the coins I’d taken from the vault and gave them to her without a thought.  I then took her to my bank vault and showered her with jewels, coins and all the  abundant wealth I could scoop up.  It didn’t stop there, though. Abundance comes in many forms.

After leaving the bank, we walked outside and were greeted by a gentle spring rain.  That rain coming down was a healing rain that washed away any possible pain, rejection, confusion, hurt and uncertainty about the future that may have developed from this phone call.

Then as we walked down the stairs of this bank, many business people were rushing up the stairs tripping over themselves to get to my friend and offer her employment.  They could see what I see that they would be getting an amazingly talented professional.  I stepped out of the way as all these people surrounded and courted her with their offers.  I was just so happy that I could share abundance with her and awfully proud that she is my friend.

While it is very nice to have a meditation on abundance for me, I am one to share that abundance with the ones I love.  It was nice to be able to take that morning meditation and extend it in the direction of my friend in her time of need.

Please tell me, all you abundance gurus, does it work to redirect your abundance material intended for  one’s own use to someone I care about?  Can I ask that the abundance that I would draw to myself, be redirected to someone else?  I believe it’s possible.  Reckon I would call it a meditative prayer.  It was fun to take a guided imagery that I heard that morning and re-create it for my friend.  There’s something about seeing my friend receive all that abundance that made it extra special or powerful than just praying outright, “God, please help my friend.”   Perhaps it’s the act of Co-creating with source rather than just asking that makes it so.  I don’t know.

However it comes about, I am just happy that my friend will be blessed beyond belief.

About metaminder

A few years ago, I graduated with a Masters degree in Spiritual Nurture from an accredited graduate school. However, I found myself disagreeing with much of the traditional Christian doctrine that I had learned. So I packed up my faith and put it away to examine another day. Recently, I've found myself reconnecting to spirit and discovering alternative practices that guide my life in a positive direction and help me function more fully. I'd like to share my journey of growth and renewal with you as I explore these practices in hopes that you may find them helpful as well. Let me add that I have tried and was even trained in traditional western psychotherapy. While it has it's benefits, it was not enough for me. I found that as a client, talking about the same issues week after week kept me stuck in those issues. When I was being trained, I longed to offer something more to a client than merely handing them the preverbial tissue every so often. I longed to offer touch or teach them coping skills. It hasn't been until the last couple of years where I have learned new techniques such as Reiki, hypnosis, EFT and others. These are techniques that have been of help to me. This is my journey with alternative methods of self-nurture and growth. Your mileage may vary. I invite you to take responsibility for your own well being as you read this blog.
